ABA Representation in Mediation team second in regional
Carrying on UT’s strong performance history in the ABA Representation in Mediation competition, Ashley White and Brian Clifford placed second at the Regionals in Chapel Hill, N.C., recently. They handily won both of their preliminary rounds against tough teams from UNC and Ole Miss. In the final round, our underdogs faced a team from Loyola New Orleans who brought an entourage of coaches, teams, and supportive spectators, and Ashley and Brian still placed a very close second. Please congratulate Ashley and Brian for their fantastic performance.

Transactions to become e-journal
Beginning with the Spring issue, Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law will be transitioning into an open access e-journal platform supported by BEPress. What this means is that the journal will be accessible to a broader audience in e-form, at no cost to the journal, and without subscription fees to readers. Hard copy subscribers will still be charged for their subscriptions.
If you are interested in seeing what the journal will look like in its new e-format, please go to http://trace.tennessee.edu/transactions/aimsandscope.html. You may even want to bookmark the page for ease of reference in the future.
Archived prior editions of Transactions that are currently stored on UT servers and linked from the website will be removed from the server and all back editions will be available on the BEPress trace website.
Please feel free to provide this information to any interested folks out there. Currently, for non UT computer access, the last two years of issues are blocked. That restriction will be lifted with the publication of the Spring Issue.
Thanks for making this possible goes to Sophia Brown, Cathy Cochran, and Scott Simmons, EIC 2009-2010.
