Beth picked UT for undergrad because of the marching band but fell in love with Knoxville and decided to stick around for longer. After working for 3 years, the learning bug struck and she went back to school. Beth is from a small town, so feeling connected and part of a community is really important to her, and that's why she tries to volunteer and become a part of so many organizations on and off campus. April was born in Detroit, Michigan, but spent most of her life in Orlando, FL. She went to the University of Central Florida and graduated with a bachelors of science in legal studies and business administration. April interned at the Florida State Senate and Siemens Energy, Inc., during undergrad. Additionally, April studied abroad in Europe and focused on World War II history. Mari Aoyagi
Mari is an international student from Japan who went to International Christian University ("ICU") in Tokyo, Japan, and majored in Intercultural Communication. While at ICU, she studied at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for a year as an exchange student, fell in love with the South, and decided to return to the area for law school.At UT, she is a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the International Law Society (Immigration Law), and the Asian Law Students Association. Mari is especially interested in Public Health/Health Care and International Law. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, photography and cooking.

Jeanai Ranero is native of New Orleans, Louisiana, who moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia State University. She graduated with a BA in accounting and played collegiate soccer. She worked two years as an accountant before entering law school, where she intends to focuses on tax law. Eric Mauldin
Eric Mauldin is originally from Nashville, but has spent the last five years in Knoxville. He graduated from UTK with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy. During his time as an undergraduate student, Eric spent four years as an award-winning attorney on the UT Mock Trial Team. He is in the Trial Advocacy Concentration and plans to pursue a career in criminal defense. When he is not in class, he works as the Marshal for the McReynolds Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International and as a Baker Scholar for the Howard H. Mili Shah
After 4 years in NYC, Mili decided it was time to return to the South. While at NYU, she founded her own competitive dance team, NYU Raas Malai, which went on to win championships in D.C., Boston, Chicago, and Detroit. Her team was also selected for America's Best Dance Crew in Fall 2008. Too bad Mili wasn't going to forfeit the glories of law school to slave away in Hollywood.
