UT Law hosted a reception for Joan Cronan
Joan Cronan, director of Women's Athletics at the University of Tennessee, visited the College of Law on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Cronan shared her experiences in women's athletics, discussing her tenure with the Lady Vols program. She also reflected on the evolution of women's competitive sports and the changes and consequences associated with Title IX, which gave women the chance to compete in sports once reserved for men at the collegiate level.
UT Law hosted a reception for Cronan, who has been an integral part of athletics at UT for just under three decades, following her lecture.
