Presentations and Library Tours

Our reference librarians, all of whom have degrees in law and library science and are skilled in teaching and presenting, are available for guest lectures and library tours with your class. In conjunction with a guest lecture or tour, we can prepare bibliographies, quick guides to legal research in your class’s subject, and create simple web pages with links to related resources. Contact Nathan Preuss at 865-974-6736 or npreuss@utk.edu to discuss scheduling a presentation or tour.

Printing at the Law Library for campus users

The Law Library does not have VolPrint printers or card chargers. Information about printing from our public computers (ten cents per page) is in the paragraph below.

Public Computers and Printing

The library has nine computers that may be used for online, Internet-based research. Also available on these computers is access to many subscription research databases that the library purchases, including Westlaw. Printing costs ten cents per page. In order to print, you must have one of our print/copy cards, available from the black vending machine behind the gold record display case near the Circulation Desk. This vending machine takes paper money only – no coins, credit cards, or debit cards.
