Professor Beintema came to UT in 1984 after serving as director of the
Oklahoma City University Law Library. He was also a research assistant
at the Florida State University Law Library and Assistant Law Librarian
and Acting Law Librarian at the University of Miami. Professor Beintema
is the author of Clergy Malpractice: An Annotated Bibliography. He has
held national and regional offices and committee positions in the American
Association of Law Libraries and has served as a member of the Advisory
Board of the Legal Assistant Technology Program at Pellissippi State Technical
Community College. During 2001 Professor Beintema received an award from
the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries
"In Recognition Of Sustained Special Service to the Chapter."
