Submission Information

The Tennessee Law Review welcomes manuscripts on any area of law and related disciplines provided the treatment given to the topic is scholarly and well-researched.  We review every submission we receive.  The 2008-09 Editorial Board will begin reviewing manuscripts on March 3, 2008.

Manuscripts should adhere to the following guidelines:

Please conform text and citations to the 18th edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.

Please provide a cover letter including your name, school or affiliation, title of your manuscript, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.

We encourage but do not require the provision of an abstract and conformity with the 10th edition of the Texas Law Review Manual on Usage & Style.

Tennessee Law Review does not accept articles written for academic credit in any graduate or undergraduate school, except those by our own second- and third-year members.

We prefer electronic submissions through ExpressO. Please note that if you use this service, we will not send a separate acknowledgment of receipt; the only acknowledgment that your manuscript has been received will come from ExpressO.

We also accept submissions, prepared in Microsoft Word, at the address below:
