Visiting the College of Law

We offer several opportunities for Admitted Candidates to visit the College. Our Student Host Program is available to you on a flexible Monday through Friday schedule during Spring Semester. Visitors may meet with a law student, visit a first-year class, tour the campus and tour the law school. To discuss this program and schedule a visit, please call our office and speak to Carolyn Karstrom or Phyllis Brewer at (865) 974-4131.

Please contact the Admissions Office at (865) 974-4131, preferably giving a week's notice, to schedule your visit to the College of Law.

How to Find Us

The College of Law building is located at 1505 W. Cumberland Avenue, Suite 161.

Maps & Directions to UT Knoxville are available on the University website.

Parking

Parking is most readily available in the University Center Garage. Turn right onto Phillip Fulmer Way. The University Center Garage is just behind the University Center. You may walk through the University Center, exit the front, and cross the street to the College of Law.

Directions to the College of Law

From Memphis, Nashville, and Other Points West of Knoxville

Come into Knoxville via I-40 East. Take Exit 386B, Alcoa Highway/Smoky Mountains. Follow the elevated interstate ramp, taking the first exit to your right (Kingston Pike). At the bottom of the ramp, turn left at the signal light (Kingston Pike turns into Cumberland Avenue). Proceed approximately 6 blocks.

From Asheville and Other Points East of Knoxville

Come into Knoxville on I-40 West. Take Exit 386B, Alcoa Highway/Smoky Mountains. Stay in the left lane. Follow the elevated interstate ramp, taking the first exit to your right (Kingston Pike, but the exit is not marked). At the bottom of the ramp, turn left at the signal light (Kingston Pike turns into Cumberland Avenue). Proceed approximately 6 blocks.
