General Information
The University of Tennessee College of Law offers two academic
concentrations for students who wish to focus their studies in a
specific area of legal education.
The College has expanded upon its national reputation for excellence
in clinical education by offering a strong curriculum in trial and
appellate advocacy through the new Center
for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution.
At the same time, the College created the James
L. Clayton Center for Entrepreneurial Law to provide specific
training for students who desire a solid foundation in the legal aspects
of business and finance. The Center
for Entrepreneurial Law promotes and offers scholarship and
service opportunities for full-time, adjunct, and visiting faculty
in these areas.
Upon graduation, students who meet the requirements will be awarded
the J.D. degree with a concentration in the appropriate area.
